Discover STEAM Camps - STEMWORKS presents a day of fun filled activities.
K'NEX Computer Control:
Students are challenged to build and program a fairground ride using K’Nex, a versatile construction kit. Working to a design specification and in groups of 3, students must use their creativity to engineer an exciting fairground ride before using their computing and numeracy skills to program the ride. Pupils can experiment with structures, gears and other mechanisms while modelling their design before using laptops and control boxes to program movement, light and music.
Sessions will run from 9:30am - 15:30pm
Before and After Care:
Before and after care can be provided from 8:00am - 17:30pm.
A Nutritious lunch is provided! Please provide your child with a snack and water bottle.
