Introducing Head Coach Paul Robinson:

When a junior at Havant Hockey Club, lead coach Paul Robinson was part of the U18 team that won the National Club Cand World Club Championship in Sydney, Australia. By this time, he had already become a regular in the National League and in 2005, went on to the join the Army where he has been a regular player for a variety of UK Armed Forces and Army Hockey Teams. He coached the Ladies to their highest National Indoor League finish and won both Armed Forces titles before becoming a senior sport science lecturer at The University of Chichester. In recent years, he has represented the England Masters over 35s and over 40s.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Throughout the day on our intensive camp, players will focus on foundational techniques from first touch and how to avoid the opposition, to defence positioning and footwork. Players will develop technical skills with a focus on refining hitting techniques and attacking in key areas.  With 1:1 and pairs ladder games there will be chance to practice techniques in a playing environment.

There will be small-sided games when players can put their new skills and techniques into practice under the expert eye of qualified and experienced coaches.
